The Midgley Agency was founded in 1938 by W.P. "Hat" Midgley. Through the years, it has grown into the largest firm of its kind in Marlboro County.

''Hat" Midgley ran his business with a commitment to excellence, mutual trust, and personal relationships with those he served. This is a tradition now carried on by his son Charles Midgley, Sr. and grandson, Charles Paul Midgley who currently serve as president and vice-president of the company.

Through our real estate division, we offer a wide range of listings, including residential, commercial property, vacant lots and land. We work with other agents in the local community, throughout the region and nationwide through the GreaterPee Dee Realtors Association.

Our insurance component offers all lines of insurance, both personal and commercial.
